Here I was…in my mid-20s, a full-time job, studying part-time, a great group of friends, living in my own place, driving a new sporty car and wanting to give something back to the community in the form of voluntary work. On the surface, it appears like the perfect life, one which many people aspire to.
House of Restoration (HR) is an independent, non-profit organization working with people in need across the city of Melbourne. HR is a registered charity providing assistance to the disadvantaged, homeless and those from broken families through programs and services which promote a sense of belonging and purpose. By creating a strong support network and family environment, we aim to facilitate personal restoration and empower people to achieve lasting change that will improve their well-being and enable them to make a positive contribution in their world.
