LINC (Linking Indigenous and Non-Indigenous Communities) is dedicated to building bridges between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians and providing support and services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in a culturally appropriate way. Through positive relationships, mentoring and practical services, we hope to facilitate better quality of life, restoration and strong leadership within Australia’s Indigenous community. Focus areas include:
Mentoring & Educational Programs – cooking and home skills, academic tutoring, trade skills, leadership programs, youth boot camp, life skills.
Sports, Music & Recreation – connecting Indigenous and non-Indigenous people and building confidence through sports, outdoor activities, dance, music, and performances.
Personal & Family Support – practical everyday support for families, single mothers, teenagers, children, elderly and individuals with practical or emotional needs.
Advocacy & Social Justice – Supporting the Indigenous Community through advocating for better living conditions including community health and entitlements.
