Computer Courses Continue |

House of Restoration has continued to offer free computer courses in Box Hill and Braybrook. We recently heard from a student who completed the Certificate II in Information Technology last year, saying that she now has a full time office job.
In Braybrook, courses have been running both during the day and in the evenings, with students coming from various backgrounds.
Funding has been available under the Australian Work Skills Voucher Programme to run this course for people within the community. Due to the change in Government, this program ceased on 31 March 2008 and the Certificate II in Information Technology course will conclude in mid-June.
Regardless of funding no longer being available, House of Restoration is exploring ways in which it will still be able to offer free (or at minimal cost) computer training courses to the community. We will keep you up to date with the progress.
