At the back of the boys house we have a volleyball net strapped between two trees. Our court, which has quickly turned from grass to dirt is marked out by imaginary lines. We thought we are getting pretty good, so when the chance came up to play in a real volleyball tournament we entered five teams, hired a bus and headed down the coast to Inverloch!
Sure the net was a bit higher, the court was a bit bigger and the sand was a bit softer but we actually did ok! Well... better than ok, we won every section! Of course it's not all about winning, there was a lot of laughing too, mostly at each other's inability to make the shot and ending up eating sand instead. Thanks to everyone that filled in last minute on the day and for those that cheered us along.
