Five girls and 2 guys and their leader from Anderson University, Indiana, U.S.A. spent the week of 19th May hanging out with the HR crew. The girls were separated into pairs and stayed at three different houses, while the two boys stayed at Thames St. They came to experience a little of HR as well as see the sights of Melbourne and surrounds. A day trip to Healesville to see the ‘unusual’ animals, Philip Island and the Penguin Parade, sight-seeing in the city and the Essendon vs Richmond match at the MCG were a few of the highlights! But we didn’t let them off work! They spent a day in the warehouse sorting through donated clothing for PNG and packing boxes with books and other goodies! Another day was spent doing a backyard blitz for a single mum. Many thanks to the crew for your contribution to HR.
