The headquarters at 60 Nelson Road has recently been revamped with four of the rooms now transformed into offices.   The recent addition to the office is Witness Clothing, a label that aims to inspire people to represent truth, freedom and individuality.  To find out more or to view the latest range, drop by the office or email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . Website and online store coming soon!

The headquarters continues to act as a central point where people drop in for encouragement and support.  With access to the internet, we have been able to encourage people to look for jobs, training courses and apprenticeships in the event they will be able to fulfil their dream as well as be integrated back into the community.  Our weekly family night is proving to be popular with people from all walks of life coming to join in our time of sharing and encouragement.

We have been receiving enquiries about the adult computer courses that are running in Box Hill and Braybrook, as well as receiving calls about the donation of resources to Shining Light.  There have even been bags of items left on the front porch to be sent in the next container going to Papua New Guinea.

Our friends at Crossway have begun the process of organising a Trivia Fundraising event to be held on 21 June 2008.  More information about this event will be posted shortly!

And finally, we have a team of American students coming to Melbourne in May to do a community placement with House of Restoration.

Braybrook
Our new base in Braybrook is continuing to develop. We are in the process of setting up the office area and building relationships with other community groups within the Western Suburbs. The computer training room has been set up with eleven Pentium 4 computers, all with Office 2007 installed on them.

The adult computer courses began in February with classes running both during the day and in the evenings.  These classes are due to conclude in June and we will be offering new opportunities for people to learn basic computer skills after this date.

The warehouse has been filling up with many donations of clothes, books, furniture, computers and much more. These resources are distributed both within Victoria to families requiring assistance and to under-resourced countries in the Pacific Islands.

Our food relief program continues to assist many of the families in the Western Suburbs requiring assistance.
With still quite a bit of work to be done at the Braybrook base, we have applied for funding to assist with associated costs for setting up our Braybrook base.
