House of Restoration

When I arrived at HR I was feeling incredibly hurt, discouraged and bewildered by most unexpected, difficult and painful circumstances both in my family and in the church in which I had been involved for over half of my life. I was very warmly welcomed and quickly felt unconditionally accepted as part of the 'HR Family'.

There was no sense of a compulsion to explain my rather unusual middle aged single woman with a 'disappeared' family status. Instead I received love, prayer, caring support and encouragement which assisted greatly in healing my broken heart and, together with the emphasis that we ought to experience and see God in our every day lives, praising him and expectantly praying together in a totally different manner to which I had been accustomed, I have consequently grown in my spiritual walk. Seeing God work in new, creative and exciting ways through my beloved HR family to the extent that is visibly impacting the lives of not only my own very precious biological family, but also so many others whose broken lives have been touched by this ministry is inspirational. Coming to HR has shown me that Christianity can be authentic, real and practical in its application to emulate what Jesus lived and taught.
