Reaching Out on the Streets of Box Hill E-mail
Written by Rachel Navanua

On Friday night a team of 8 young people from Surrey Hills Presbyterian Church Youth Group joined the HR street team outside the mall at Box Hill. The team gave out hot food and drinks and made conversation with passers-by and people hanging around outside Box Hill Central. The music played by Jerry and others was an instant connection for some people who enjoyed the free entertainment and even joined in!

Street Ministry remains at the heart of House of Restoration. This is how HR began back in 2001 and it is still an integral part of what we do today. Getting out on the streets and talking with people allows us to make connections with many different kinds of people who may be facing challenges and struggles in their lives.
